L'occitane Angelica Hydra Vital Cream & Gel Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I have some exciting review for today. I have been using and testing these moisturizer as mt daily moisturizer, testing it during day and night. So I am going to let you know my thoughts on it. L'occitane is a beauty French brand that reminds me of a flower shop. The store that you can find in the malls are just like flower shops! I think it represent the product concept that they are carrying that is using all natural flowers and plants for their products. Also by looking at it modern sabby chic packaging, it really reminds me of gardening essential. I personally love the design and concept of their products. Such as this Angelica Hydra Vital Cream and Gel. That is infused with a plant name Angelica. Angelica is an exceptional plant that grows incredibly fast due to its hydration capabilities. L'OCCITANE came out with a full line of skincare based on this amazing plant that will provide intense rehydrate and revitalize to the skin.

So you can actually choose or even use both of the moisturizer. It comes in a gel and cream texture. I have test both and by far my favorite is the gel although I find that both does deliver good hydration and help my skin. I have combination skin and both cream and gel type does not cause me problem but the cream dies feels a bit heavier and sticky. The cream is recommend to people who have normal to dry skin while the gel texture can be use by all skin type.

First week I have tried the L'occitane Angelica Hydra Vital Cream first. It is enriched with angelica seed extract. Offers long lasting moisture and help defend your skin from environmental stressness. On first application, I love how it felt so luxurious on the skin but as I blend it it gets a bit annoying as I am really skeptical about moisturizer that leave greasy feeling. It does not leave white cast if you ask or that really greasy feeling like most day cream i tried. It just that I think the cream is very hydrating and may not suit my skin and may suit dry skin very well. I slept with an air-condition room, and it actually give me a bit of cooling sensation and comfortable feeling. As I woke up, my skin is really plum and hydrated just like wearing sleeping pack mask. During the day, I also use the cream and find that it cakes up my makeup a bit. I think this also cause my our humid weather and my skin condition. I felt like the cream is more suitable to be use during the night or going places that is air-condition or maybe if you going abroad to a cold weather country, this might be you travel essential.
Then after trying the cream, I move on to the L'occitane Angelica Hydra Vital Gel. On first application I already feel in love with this moisturizer. It describe as a light and ultra-fresh, the Hydra Vital Gel is a true burst of hydration to help revitalize the skin. Its cooling gel texture soothes the skin for a more radiant complexion. Provide 24 hydration. I just have to agree with that. Since I use this moisturizer, my skin has been better and better. I love touching my nose and my cheek because my pore are reduce and my skin is not flaky dry. My skin also feels refreshes and cool. It is make a good makeup base. My foundation application has become more flawless and smooth.

The scent is not overpowering, some said it smells good but for me there is nothing special about the scnt. I might just describe it the scent as a "fresh plant" scent. (I'm so bad at describing scent, sorry!) The packaging of this moisturiser are really exquisite but the glass jar is pretty heavy and the jar is pretty tall if you can see. So what if I am about to finish the gel/cream, I might just need to dig in my finger in or maybe need some spatula to scoop out the product.Also I am not a fan of touching my moisturiser consistently as I feel I am gathering bacteria in it. But overall, I really love this moisturiser. I really love how hydrating and how it makes my skin plum.
